Gratitude The Key to Joyous Living

Make today a day of gratitude. What are you thankful for today. Gratitude helps us to recognize all that we are and all that we have from God.

When we take the time to be thankful, it prevents us from worry and anxiety. It helps us to know just how abundantly blessed we are.

Jesus Always Expressed Gratitude

We cannot read very much about the Lord without seeing how he never wavered from giving thanks to the Father for all things. He thanked God for food even thought he made all things in the world.

He thanked God for hearing him. Answering prayer is truly something we should express gratitude for each and every day.

Cultivate the Habit of Gratitude

Sometimes it can help if we have something to remind us to be grateful. Try using a journal or some type of note pad where you can make a note of at least five things per day for which you are grateful.

This can have a transforming power in your life. It lifts your heart, increases confidence, keeps your mind focused on positive possibility.

We can be thank for our health, our food, clothing, shelther, jobs, and all the family, friends and experiences which make this life wonderful.

Receiving instruction from spiritual teachers, having good examples to follow and experiencing love are all reasons to be thankful to God.

Who in your life can you be thankful for, what gifts can you reflect up, and for what experiences do you hold dear to your heart? Gratitude can transform your life.
